33 year old sentenced to 11 years for illegally supplying methamphetamine in Lac Crosse, Wisconsin 1

A 33-year-old individual, James Vinson, was sentenced 11 years in prison followed by 6 years of supervised release by James D. Peterson, the Chief Judge of US. District. Special Agent, DEA Chicago, Robert J. Bell and US Attorney, Western District Wisconsin, Scott C. Blader reported that Vinson was found guilty for illegal distribution of methamphetamine.

Vinson was arrested by the West Central Metropolitan Enforcement Group on 5th December 2019. He was caught red-handed selling 111 grams of pure methamphetamine to an informant. Vinson was already suspected to be a part of methamphetamine trafficking; therefore, he was under state supervision during this time.

The case was supervised by Steven P. Anderson, Assistant US Attorney. Along with the contribution and efforts of DEA, West Central Metropolitan Enforcement Group and County Sheriff Office of La Crosse.
