Kenneth B. Hendricks, a 77-year-old Catholic priest from Cincinnati, was accused of sexually harassing Filipino boys. The investigation was carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and authorities in the Philippines of the two continents.
Multiple minor Filipino boys reported the sexual abuse to HSI on November 13. Various victims are provided with law enforcement statements and have been identified.
Father Hendricks is accused of sexually abusing the victim since 2009 when the boy was around 12-year-old and another one harassed since he was seven years old.’
One victim confessed that the priest made him engage in oral sex 30 times, and anal sex at least six times, and further reported that the father forcefully inserted his finger in the boy’s anus.
Another victim reported that the priest forced him to masturbate his penis at least 40 times, and Hendricks did the same thing at least 60 times to the boy. The victims reported that the priest started these acts by kissing them first and then touching their penises for oral and anal sex.
Hendricks was also accused of forcing young boys to take baths together and molest the boys alone or with other boys help. The priest threatened the boys of sending them to jail if any of them reported these incidents.
As a United States citizen, Hendricks is charged with a federal crime of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places, punishable up to 30 years in prison.
However, the offender is assumed innocent until proven guilty as criminal complaints rarely consist of allegations.
